# Building 2nd town
This new town is in a much higher lv area. So the first few units you should move over are your strongest fighters.
Towns do not share facilities. Each one need their own resources, storage and people.
Towns can fetch resources from others through the wagon facility.
When assigning task to fetch stuff from other towns, be caution that your unit will continue fetching until source town runs dry. Excessive items that your new town cannot hold will be lost, just like that. So you must remember to cancel the task manually once you've transported enough.
While things like wood or grass can be explicitly picked, items in storage you cannot. If you want to fetch nails and boards for example, you can only give instruction to fetch Non-food and hope for the best.
This is also the perfect time to plan for the town specialized in passive income mentioned earlier. I recommend repurposing your first town for this because it's in a safe, low lv zone. In preparation, try to move all shops over to the 2nd town as it grows and redirect all port visitors there.
This town being closer to Snow biome will have much easier time obtaining cloth materials for upgrading your shops too.
And in preparation for Legendary Cave. You want to have plenty of Treasure storage and Labs towards the north. Legendary Cave will give you a LOT of chests you'll want to pick up.
