# Chaos Stone
There are only 6 Chaos Stones you can obtain in this game. If one shows up, be sure to only survey for it if success rate is above 70%, and pay diamonds if you fail to reverse that into success. You are only allowed to do this with success rate above 70%.
Chaos stone spawns monsters at night. Once it runs out, you feed it an orange to refresh.
**VERY IMPORTANT**
You can destroy and rebuild Chaos Stones. However, you **MUST pay diamond**. If you don’t, that particular stone is lost. **Forever**.

When you first put down a stone, you need to assign it to 1 of your towns. This simply means that the orange you feed will come from that town.
The purpose of the stone generally is to spawn biome specific monsters for weekly conquests. However, you NEED to completely dig up the land first. Otherwise it will only spawn dirt monsters.
Building it here, you get dirt monsters.
THIS will give you rocky monsters.
On full moon nights, Chaos Stones will spawn a couple waves specifically for attacking near by town. For this, you really want to setup your town defense. Refer to [Town Defense](/kingdom-adventurers/town-defense.md) for guidance.
