# Early Copper Town

You may have seen crazy copper town setups with massive XL shops generating tens of thousands of coins per hour. Yea we’re not there yet :)

Copper town is essentially a town with a bunch of skill shops and an army of combat units to buy them.

We will start small; a few shops containing a few shelves. Your mages should all be using the INT set outlined in [Equipment sets](/kingdom-adventurers/equipment-sets.md)

I prefer L size shops because we can lay down carpets straight from crafting station to the shelves. Shopkeepers need to walk from station to shelf after every craft. Move speed boost from carpet is really helpful here.

The INT set is enough to help even D ranks craft every spells in game. What you need are more skills slots as outlined in [Essential jobs for next step](/kingdom-adventurers/essential-jobs-for-next-step.md)

On the plus side: idea is very simple.

* Place a shelf
* Check price
* Destroy and replace shelf if it's too cheap

On the down side: it's entirely RNG.

You decide what your minimum price is.

* 3 coin skills show up at shop lv 10
* 4 coin skills show up at shop lv 14
* 5 coin skills show up at shop lv 16
* most expensive skill, Chat III, shows up at lv 60

Refer to [Skill Shop](https://kingdom-adventures-community-tools.vercel.app/shops/skill-shop) in KA Tool for full list of craftable skills.

Highly recommend you do the shelf destroy thing at night. If you do it during the day, it may interrupt crafting session. Once interrupted, shopkeeper has a chance to run off and do tasks outside the shop instead.

**Things to know:**

* DO NOT call visitors to your skill shops. You don't want your shelves you worked hard to put high price skills on to get cleared.
* Fighters need accessories equipped before they'll buy from skill shops.
* Domestic Production skill prevents fighters from buying.
* Use Restaurant Shelf. You unlock it when you give cook a land and open a... can you guess... restaurant. This shelf can hold 5 goods instead of 3.
* 3-5 shelves per shop is enough. No need to go crazy with 9++ shelves like some guide recommended. Once your shopkeepers start crafting higher price items, they can NEVER keep up with refilling that many shelves.
* You can tap a shelf to check it's goods price. Position to tap is a little weird; slightly beneath, as shown.

### Skills for shopkeepers

For reference. You won't have access to all of them yet.

* Craftsmanship. Speed up crafting.
* Skills Craftsman. Extend crafting schedule. Shopkeepers normally craft in the morning. Skill Craftsman I extends that into afternoon. II extends all the way to evening.
* Domestic Production. Keeps shopkeepers in town.
* Move Speed Up + All-Out-Sprint.
* Instant Workshop. Spend Mp to finish craft instantly.
* Auto Recovery MP. Chance to recover MP while walking. We need this because sleeping on normal bed at night does not recover MP.
* Aid Specialist. Not needed if your copper town is in low lv zone. Essential for shopkeepers in high lv zone.
