# Hatching Eggs

Note: Early-mid game, consider hatching for fun. They can't really contribute anything meaningful. I love having a duck in my town. Late game people only target hatch some very specific monster. Namely, feeding Cakes to hatch Kairo Kommander.

When you kill 30 of any particular monster, a shiny version of it will appear randomly on map. Kill it and it will drop an egg. Color can belong to the biome the monster is from, or randomly you'll get a rainbow one.

You can tell they're the shiny from the bling bling.

Eggs get picked up like ordinary loot. Bringing one back to town unlocks Egg storage and also stables. There are 2 kinds of stable.

* Monster Stables is the outdoor one. Pet assigned to it will help defend town when attacked. When KO'd, they'd run back to their stables by themselves needing no rescue which is nice.
* Monster Room is the indoor one. If the house owner is in boss attack squad or part of PvP team, he will bring all the pets in the house to the fight too.

Ranchers can build Monster House when given a land which can host more monsters than other houses. XL size can host 5 monsters.

Each color eggs have their own list of monsters they can hatch into. [The Wiki pet hatching table](https://kairosoft.wiki.gg/wiki/Eggs_\(Kingdom_Adventurers\)) is a good place to check full list of this.

Put an egg on a stable, you get a timer until it hatches. You can simply wait for it to hatch just like that. Or feed it items to increase chance for certain monsters.

Let's say I checked this [wiki monster page](https://kairosoft.wiki.gg/wiki/Monsters_\(Kingdom_Adventurers\)) and really liked Brute-Belly for some reason... How do we target it?

A great tool to help you plan this out is the [Egg Planner](https://kingdom-adventures-community-tools.vercel.app/eggs) tool from KA tool set, but, we'll do it manually here.

This tells us we have the best chance if the Balance stat is between 48-56. Flan is usually what we use for this stat. I'll list this below.

So we fed it flans until I get Balance into that range. Then we can tap Forecast to check my chance.

Brute-Belly is there on bottom left with "High" Chance. Something on the top right also has high chance. We can only hope for the best.

3 days later...... WRONG ONE DAMMIT.

After a pet is born and is put on a stable, you can "train" it by feeding it eggs. Feeding a pet eggs matching it's origin with lower star will increase its max level by 1. For this reason it is best to hatch one with the highest star you can find.

Popular feed for eggs. They are ones we can purchase from our own shop usually. Cake, Flan, Ice Cream are also very common drops.

**Attack**: Milk (+16)

**Defence**: Cake (+16)

**Balance**: Flan (+12)

**Special**: Ice Cream (+16)

For late game, Wairo Tank and Kairo Kommander are what people go for. Both are hatched from rainbow eggs. We try to get target stats closer to the upper limit

**Tank**: special 4600-4904

**Kommander**: defence 4596-4910
