# Items to keep

There are some items you may want to hold on to a few. Let's go through them together.

**Food:** snacks, sweets, burgers, bread, etc. No need to keep. Feed away.

**Seeds looking thing:** for growing wood and grass. I usually hold on to about 15-20 each.

**Upgrade materials.** boards, nails, ropes, brick. Also metals and cloths. You need them for leveling facilities. Only need a few at first and  the number increases as you go higher.

**Fruits:**&#x20;

* Apple for spawning farm animals. hold on to 5-10 as you unlock this pretty soon.
* Orange for spawning monsters. This is quite late game, feed away for now.
* Others such as bananas, grapes - feed away.

**Herbs and meds:**  holding certain amount can unlock some research. Not crucial and these are quite easy to come by.

**Samples, tomes, scroll of knowledge:** unlock equipment research which can come in quite handy. I recommend hold on to 10 each for early game. They are generally easy to come by **EXCEPT** Armor Sample which is rare.&#x20;

A lot of these items can be purchased from Material Shop but keep in mind the shop can run out of supply.
