# Lv 999 2nd Gen

Now, you should have all the tools to make this possible.

You will need, roughly:

* 10,000 diamonds give or take.
* 200,000 copper coins.
* Enough awakening cap (15 at least)

The process itself is quite simple if you stick to good compatible parents. It just takes time.

* Pick A or S parents with A Compatibility
* A parents awakening combined = 29
* S parents awakening combined = 28
* Do not let their offspring born until they reach their awaking target. You can do this by simply not giving them crib.

That's about it really... If you want to try pairs that are lower than A compatibility, you can use my [Marriage Simulator](https://panupatc.github.io/Kingdom_Adventurers_Marriage_Sim/). Simply pick the jobs you're interested in and enter awakening values to see result.

**DO NOT** follow some advise floating around Reddit about letting first child born half way into your awakening process. At the end, you still would have spent the same amount of resource. Except you end up with 1 x 999 child instead of 2. A complete and utter waste of resource.

About awakening. It is how you increase unit's level cap. You do this from the training screen by feeding copies of units of the same job to your character. These copies must be in stock, not recruited to town.

We typically only use D ranks as feed. They can be purchased from Job Center. D ranks are much more cost efficient than using higher ranks.

Here's an example. From my [Simplified Compatible Parents sheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ic1CIdFFoeU_wvmMuMPpd84DF3XCb0Ln_HPJ-qg1PrY)

Mage+Mage have A compatible. Produce Magic Knight. My Mages were rank A so they needed 29 combined awakening. Here I did 20+9.

And here's their child.

As simple as that.

The awakening can be any combination. 1+28, 10+19, 14+15 etc. 14+15 will most likely be the one you start with.

Parents levels don’t matter. The child will be born with random stat levels.

Job Center (unlocks from fog 35) is your main source of D ranks.

The center starts off with 20 units in stock. D ranks cost 100 diamonds each. After you buy all 20, you need to pay 10,000 copper coins to restock 3 more.

Buying A ranks is an option if you are looking for specific pairs to marry.

You can save some diamonds if you rely on S ranks from weekly conquest. However, weekly conquest only rewards domestic jobs. I think we can all agree that awakened combat units are more useful than domestic ones.

### Royals

Royals are offspring of your Monarch. They have higher base stats and higher growth than normal units. Also require 1 less awakening compared to other pairs.

* Rank A Monarch, 28 combined awakening
* Rank S Monarch, 27 combined awakening

Monarch can only be awakened with Scholars which you can obtain mainly from survey.

Be careful. Your monarch’s rank increases when your highest town hall reaches the following levels:

* Rank A: town hall 45
* Rank S: town hall 60

If you married your Monarch to an A and your Monarch turned S before you could breed your Royal, well, too bad I guess.

You can check Monarch's compatible pairs from my [Simplified Compatible Parents sheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ic1CIdFFoeU_wvmMuMPpd84DF3XCb0Ln_HPJ-qg1PrY)
