# Master Smithy

You obtain Master Smithy from fog lv 11. You can now level up your equipment! You have given your smith INT gears, leveling up her shop and summoning visitors as suggested, right? Then hopefully you’ll have something to work with.

First. Get a pair of weapons to lv 5. You cannot feed the same weapon to itself, that’s why you need 2.

Wooden Stick is a really good choice. It gives decent exp, can be equipped by many jobs, plus is unlocked from the start (if I remember correctly).

The other one can be anything that costs 3 coppers. Fruit Knife and Tiny Knife are popular choice.

Feed stick to knife, feed knife to stick. You get the idea.

Your weapons will hit its first cap at lv 5. You will need either Kairo gears or diamonds to break cap.

First few caps are quite cheap diamond wise. IMO spending small amount to get Wooden Stick to lv 10 or 20 isn't such a bad deal. Don't go crazy with your spending tho as we will gain ways to obtain Kairo gears soon enough.

Next we will focus on unlocking Novel. It's a weapon that looks like a green book.

It requires weapon shop lv 7 and shopkeeper INT 49.

This is where picking female blacksmith as suggested will help. You should have obtained F/ Alice Band and D/ Scarf from clearing early fogs. The band can only be used by females. Get both to lv 5 and your smith will meet the INT requirement.

What if your smith is a male, you ask? Worry not. Try to clear fog lv 23. Use friend's help if you need to. You will obtain a C/ Magic Pendant which will cover all your early INT needs.

We will cover friends in later section.

You may be asking, why stop at lv 7 and why Novel?

1. Higher level shop will increase the pool of items your smith can craft. Larger pool means lower % for Novel to appear. It's not game-breaking but trust me RNG is already annoying enough at lv 7. No need to make it worse 😂
2. Novel gives INSANE amount of exp when fed to other weapons. Just take a look how much it gives at lv 1 compare to others. You will use it as feed for every gears you level up in the future.

So what's the strategy here?

I recommend taking your time. Wait for all shelves to fill up and call visitors. It's slow but you'll be earning this way.

If you're in a rush, you can also manually destroy and rebuild shelf. The resources needed can be a problem this early in game.
